Personalized Baby Gifts ONE WINNER CLAIMS (4) GRAND PRIZES!
Embroidered Baby Blankies One small Baby Blanket company's internal milestone get trumped by four of a kind AND a full house.
DALLAS,TX May 15, 2008-- There were anxious moments last week - as the owners of Fill In The Blankie waited with baited breathe for the next few Baby Blankets orders to pop onto their computer screen. In just 3 short years, the small Dallas based company had received thousands of orders for their one-of-a-kind Baby Blankets for newborns, baby showers and baptisms and christenings from all over the world. Being a statistic freak (and a son of mother with her Phd in mathematics) - owner Todd Lilly decided to start tracking how many orders were coming in and going out for each occasion. When the numbers tallied up - the company was stunned to find that they had made well over 9,000 blankets specifically for baptisms and christenings. So they made an internal pact to celebrate their 10,000th baptism blankie by gifting it to the lucky family.
And so - they kept a close eye on Lilly's counter - as the orders started to click closer to the magical 10,000 mark. But, little did they know that orders #9998, 9999, 10,000 and 10,001 would have such special significance!
Those baptisms (and orders) belong to the Gerwer quadruplets of Murphy, Texas; Reid, Cameron, Robert & Brady. These 2 boys and 2 girls were born in January and will celebrate their baptism day on May 18th - at the home of their grandparents. To keep things straight, their busy parents have color coded each twin's belongings. On May 18th dressed up in their colors, each lucky Quad will be adorned complete with their own coordinated personalized Baby Blankie. The Quadruplets Aunt Monica has written similar, but unique copy to be embroidered along all 4 satin edges for each child's blankie.

"These kids are truly a miracle from God," says cousin, gift-giver, and (most importantly) Baby Reid's Godmother Monica Sagness of South Dakota. "I received a personalized 'Fill in the Blankie' when my daughter was born and was just waiting for the opportunity to buy one (okay -- FOUR!) for someone else! The role of being a Godparent is important, and finding just the right gift can be tough... though, not with Fill in the Blankie around!"
From the earliest times, children and infants have been baptized, christened, dedicated and included in the church. This is an important rite of passage and sacred ritual for many Christian families. The Dallas-based company -- FillInTheBlankie.com - provides one-of-a-kind keepsakes in commemoration of this event. With room for 200 characters, a choice of 32 blankets color/styles, 27 fonts and 12 thread colors, each blanket is truly one-of-a-kind -- Just like every child - every Fill In The Blankie is unique.
So, once again, Fill In The Blankie will be there (vicariously) at the baptism -- in this case, for the Gerwer family at the very special baptism of Reid (#9998), of Robert (#9999), of Brady (#10,000) and last, but not least, of Cameron (#10,001). The Gerwer's not only hit 4 of a kind and netted out with a (very) full house - but, they got "comped" on all four of the blankies to boot! No doubt, luck strikes in 3's (and 4's).
DID YOU KNOW? Quadruplet Facts:
- It's estimated that only 500 sets of quads (that would be four!) are born annually in the US
- The odds of having spontaneous quadruplets are predicted to be 1 in 729,000.
- 99% of quadruplets are a result of fertility treatments and/or reproductive technology.

A BLANKIE A DAY MAY NOT KEEP THE DOCTOR AWAY, BUT HOPES ARE THEY'LL BRING SMILES TO MANY DESERVING LITTLE FACES.
DALLAS,TX--Just announced today from FillInTheBlankie.com is a charitable contribution to Children'sMedicalCenter in Dallas. The Personalized Baby Blanket e-retailer, best known for its quirky personality and extreme customization options, has developed a "Blankie-A-Day"donation program in coordination with the hospital.
Fill In The Blankie has offered a years' worth of Baby Blankets, fully embroidered with nursery rhymes and sweet sayings, to be given to children staying in the hospital. They may be gifted to a child after surgery, or even to some of over 200 children who spend their birthday at Children's.
And, because Fill In The Blankie prides itself on the large amount of personalization and customization options it offers... over 200 characters of embroidery, 32 styles of blankets, 27 fonts, and over 40 thread colors... each Baby Blanket will still be completely unique and one-of-a-kind. In the process, they hope to dispel many of the preconceived notions about personalized baby blankets, such as:
-baby blankets are not simply for babies
-personalization/embroidery does not have to be limited to a name and/or a birth date
-babyblankets work well through (and after) bedtime. A child's favorite blankie provides unconditional love, companionship and sense of security and comfort.
All of which are key considerations and insights into helping Children's Medical Center do more of what they do so well -- make life better for children.
"We receive so many truly worthy requests to donate throughout the year, that, while we'd love to give to everyone, we just can't meet all the requests. So, since Children's holds kind of a special place in our hearts -- being fromDallas, and having had to make a couple trips to Children's with our own kids over the years -- I can't think of a better group to work with,"says Todd Lilly, owner of Fill In The Blankie.
Children'sMedicalCenteris located in Dallas, TX and is a private, not-for-profit hospital. It is also the only teaching hospital specializing in children from birth through adolescence in North Texas and the only designated Level I trauma center for pediatrics in the Southwest. Both U.S.News & World Report and Child magazine have named Children's as one of the nation's top pediatric providers. And, with over 360,000 visits a year, they excel in areas and services above and beyond the traditional roles.
"Children's truly provides remarkable services that go above and beyond the call of duty. They focus on finding delight in the details -- that 'wow'factor,"Lilly continues."We hope these Baby Blankets will help provide a thoughtful moment for families who need a pick-up."
One of Children's outstanding services is a team of"Child Life Specialists"who help children and families understand and cope with illness and injury. They help explain to patients, siblings, and parents, in an age appropriate manner, more about the illness and possible procedures that will take place, as well as engage them in activities.
"We share the same passions for family, excellence, and putting smiles on kids' faces as Children's,"says Lilly."We're so impressed with their family-centered care that we want to be able to help in any way we can. If simply making one extra blanket a day can help put a smile on one child's face (who otherwise would not have smiled that day) then we'd be remiss in not doing what little we can do to help."

WHAT ARE EDITORS OF Baby Gift PUBLICATIONS GOING GAA-GAA OVER? THE SECRET LIES IN ONE Baby Blanket COMPANY'S SUPER-PERSONALIZED BABY BLANKETS.
This little company from Dallas is seeing a long awaited dream come true. Not only are they making new moms smile, but now the press too.
Dallas,TX January 22, 2007 -- Fill In The Blankie, a fun and quirky online retailer, has found their niche in creating ultra personalized baby blankets. But, it's not just their customers who are turning to this company as the new experts in the art of thoughtful gift-giving. Just last month, Judy Sutton Taylor, editor of Time Out Chicago Magazine, was interviewed on Chicago's ABC affiliate station WLS-TV/ Channel 7 and led her piece by introducing Fill In The Blankie by naming them as one of her top picks for great new kids gifts.
Yet, what validates the press they've received is the continued increase of positive emails, notes and photographs sent from customers. They're all sharing their own tales of how their gift was the gift that everyone was talkingabout. One customer wrote,"The baptism is over and by far this was the #1 gift. The mother-to-be was in tears when she read it. Again, I thank you so much for your friendly service and extremely speedy delivery! This will be my #1 gift for future baby arrivals. Thank you for creating such a wonderful keepsake."
Some customers have made these completely customizable blankets their gift of choice. "We love ordering blankets for all of our friends,"says one customer."Every person we've ordered a blanket for has been so impressed and sincerely grateful to receive such a personalized gift. Thanks for making it possible."
And, even more good news came in the press.Fill In The Blankie was named one of the"Top 10 Best Baby Gifts of 2006"by the industry leading national online publication, Tot's Trends Weekly. This award is decided by collecting all of the submissions received throughout the year and allowing editors to select their overall favorites. From there, it is narrowed down again by the number of clicks each product received from Tot Trends Weekly readers. "The 'Pig In A Blankie"by Fill In The Blankie ended up being one of our absolute favorites...and several of our staff members have since purchased several blankets from them. I can honestly say it is one of my favorites,"says Kate, an editor with Tot Trends Weekly.
"The press is wonderful,"says Owner Todd Lilly, who started the company out of his home in the summer of 2004."But, what's really making all this so special is the wonderful calls and emails we receive on a daily basis from our customers. Our business is really about making people smile and enabling our customers to be as thoughtful with their gifts as they are with their words. We want our customers to come off making a 'new' lasting impression. Our test and ultimate goal was to come up with a product that would never hit the garage sale pile. I think we did it. It's truly turned into a win-win situation for everyone."
What makes Fill In The Blankie unique are the complete customization options, combined with the simplicity of the ordering process, and the ability to create a custom Baby Blanket so easily. While most other high-end retailers allow no more than 20 characters with a simple monogram or birth date,Fill In The Blankie offers up to 200 characters around the satin edges so the customer can tell a whole story instead of just a name and date.

Dallas,TX January 5, 2007 -- Fill In The Blankie, a quirky and energetic new company has been working hard trying to redefine what consumers expect to see when shopping for a baby gift. And, after just 2 years in business, their customers, the receivers of the gifts and the press are starting to take notice.
Fill In The Blankie's proposition is simple, but very unique.Consumers are offered a choice of high-end, luxury blankets edged with satin borders. And, their"turn-key"pricing includes professional embroidery along all 4 satin edges of the blanket. But, what seems to be catching everyone's attention is the complete customization options combined with the simplicity of the ordering process and the ability to create something incredibly unique and customized. Options include 32 blankets, 27 fonts, 12 thread colors and up to 200 characters.
This small, but daring company has found its' niche in letting thoughtful shoppers embroider their most heart-felt thoughts on a high-quality blanket. While most other high-end retailers allow no more than 20 characters with a simple monogram or birth date, Fill In The Blankie offers up to 200 characters around the satin edges so the customer can tell a whole story instead of just a name or date.
"The response from our customers has been overwhelming,"said company President and Founder, Todd Lilly."We never expected or anticipated this type of response 'not in our wildest dreams'."
And,the feedback is not only coming from their customers, but they have started getting a lot of press on other sites, regional publications and even an on-air feature for Chicago ABC7's holiday gift guide. Judy Sutton Taylor, editor of Time Out Chicago Magazine featured these blankets on Chicago's ABC affiliate station."They make these great custom blankets and you can put anything you want on these great satin borders,"says Taylor.
"We're having a ball and learning more and more about opportunities that consumers see when they arrive at our site. Our original focus was squarely focused on newborns. But, now we get just as many orders from customers wanting to create personalized baptism and christening gifts,"says Lilly."The end product is ultimately the vision of our customers. We've received orders for dog blankets, and we even had one gentleman personalize his puppy's blanket with a marriage proposal. She said yes, thankfully."

A BABY BLANKET THAT'S SOFT AS SHEET
Adults love high thread count sheets. But, one baby blanket company is proving that luxury sheets aren't just for mom and dad anymore.
Dallas,TX October 27, 2006 -- Fill In The Blankie, a unique and spunky Baby Blanket company, is raising the bar when it comes to Baby Blankets. The new"400 count Blankie"aims to introduce the luxury of 400-count sheets to the infants of the world.
The joy of high thread count sheets isn't just that they're soft. High quality sheets are cool to the touch when you slip under the covers but also soft and snuggly. So, why should this product be kept under wraps from children and babies? Fill In The Blankie has found a way to offer a fun, personalized and luxury blanket made of 400 count sheets. And, they're proving one by one that it's a favorite.
What's more is that these"Sheety Blankets,"as they're affectingly called, can also be highly personalized. Personalization Plus, exclusively by Fill In The Blankie, offers customers up to 200 characters embroidered along the satin edges of 100% woven cotton blankets. Most other high-end retailers allow no more than 20 characters. But, more than that, these one-of-a-kind blankies are fast and easy to create. It's more than just a monogram or birth date; this allows customers to weave their warmest wishes into a high-quality blanket.
"These 400 count blankets are my newest favorite product. Some thought I was crazy here when I introduced the idea -- and some probably still do,"says owner, Todd Lilly."But,they've become the hands-down favorite in my house, and trust me, we have a lot of blankets for the kids to chose from."
Lilly continues,"We're so pumped about being able to offer something that's just not available anywhere else -- at a very reasonable price and in a very short amount of time."Lilly started the company two years ago and is a unique business owner with what can only be described as a wacky personality. He says there are two things you have to have to quit a perfectly-good career to sell Baby Blankets: a bit of an unbalanced personality and a sincere belief in your product.
And,that's what the most loyal of Fill In The Blankie's customers have said: that a Fill In The Blankie is so unique, so fun to make, and so easy to order, that the mere 5 days they wait in anticipation for the blankie is completely worth it. But now, with the 400 count Blanket, there's one more reason to love what you get -- because it really is soft as sheet.

IT'S A PIG-IN-A-BLANKIE Not the breakfast food: This creation is a completely unique Baby Gift scheduled to hit cribs this month.
Dallas, TX July 17, 2006 -- Sonya Bebeblankee, a completely unique Baby Blanket company, has created what can only be described as a completely unique Baby Gift. A PigInABlankie is a cuddly stuffed pig wrapped up in a hand-made baby blanket. Sounds simple, yes. But, this combo of babies' favorites has already started flying off the shelves. It's been popular for awhile now, but a new site introduced yesterday offers more animals, in less time, and at a lower cost.
Sonya Bebeblankee's flagship product: the super-Personalized Baby Blanket (you can write up to 200 characters of text around the blanket), is still the main focus. But, Todd Lilly, owner of Sonya Bebeblankee says,"Some things we've learned over the years is that our rush service on the Personalized Blankies sometimes just isn't fast enough for the customers' needs, and it's sometimes hard for customers to write 200 characters of text if they're not great friends with the mother. So, this product will fulfill both of these needs."
The Pig In A Blankie (and his friends) does not come personalized. So, you could receive it in as little as one day, and they start at $29 instead of the personalized price of $39. And, they have added some animals to the mix: dog, duck, frog, and bunny. Now you don't have to send a stuffed pig if you'd rather send something a bit more conventional.
Sonya Bebeblankee still contends, however, that their pig is the favorite because it's a classic. And, you can't mess with the classics.Todd Lilly, says,"Don't get me wrong, our personalized baby blankets are still the main focus. We can't lose sight of how Sonya started it all. But, this allows us to offer customers options and opportunities that we just can't offer with the Personalization Plus campaign."
Lilly continues,"Sure, we borrowed from the name of a favorite breakfast food. But, let's be honest: no one can resist those either."
THE BABY BLANKET BIZ IS GETTING MORE THAN PERSONAL
One company has made it their personal mission to make buying thoughtful Baby Gifts fun and easy.
Dallas, TX August 4, 2006 -- Sonya Bebeblankee, a unique and spunky Baby Blanket company, is raising the bar when it comes to personalization. The new"Personalization Plus"campaign aims to ultimately increase the uniqueness of an already unique Baby Gift: a Miss Sonya.
Personalization Plus offers customers up to 200 characters embroidered along the satin edges of 100% woven cotton blankets. Most other high-end retailers allow no more than 20 characters. But, more than that, the site allows users to customize their one-of-a-kind blankie fast and easy to become the ultimate gift-giver. It's more than just a monogram or birth date; this allows customers to weave their warmest wishes into a high-quality blankie.
"It's all smiles here at Sonya Bebeblankee. We can each say that we truly love what we do here,"says owner, Todd Lilly."I originally thought we were starting a Baby Blanket business. A year later we realized we were way more than that. And now, I'm more convinced than ever that we're truly in the smile business. The personalization around the blankets is just the byproduct of what we do best -- help our customers create lasting impressions."
And, that's what the most loyal of Sonya's customers have said: that a Miss Sonya is so unique, so fun to make, and so easy to order, that the mere 5 days they wait in anticipation for the blankie is completely worth it. But now, with Personalization Plus, there's more to write, more styles to choose from, and more smiles to go around. www.fillintheblankie.com
