There's an old adage that "all good things often to come to an end." In Sonya's case -- the theory holds true with great blankie styles that were true classics -- that she just loved, but -- when the "inventory well" ran dry on one or two of the colors -- so did their life on the web site. 

Then this morning she said -- "that's a CROCK!  Can't we start a blankie line called "Classic's" and offer some of the remaining styles and colors that we have sitting here and make them available to our customers?"

Although Sonya's typically pretty conservative in her style choices, our fearless leader thought this one might be fun one to bring back. Indeed refreshing to the senses, with these fun-loving shades you can almost taste the colors - Lasting Lemon Drop, Savory Grape, Mellow Mango Tango and Great Green Apple  --  YUMMY, YUMMY.  Sonya does suggest that with this name might come an association with popsicles (fancy that !?!) and you might want to begin stocking up! 100% woven cotton.

Another one of Sonya's very favorite styles has made its way back into the Fill In The Blankie line-up.  Molly's "Very Own" Herringbone has always been a huge crowd pleaser! This baby blanket is made of 100%Micro-Cotton which has been gracefully woven into a tightly-knitted classic herringbone pattern. Sonya's not one to hap-hazardly throw around words like "indulgent"or "pure magical cotton bliss" on just any high-end luxury blanket.

Sonya's not an easy woman to impress -- as she's been around the (looming) block long enough to have seen, sewn, felt and handled more cotton weaves than you'd ever care to actually sit down and hear all about. Sonya one-upped herself again. Johan's Winter Nap was such a smashing success -- that it sent her searching far and wide for more sources of that "fuzzy-wuzzy" fabric.

But, sometimes you find what you least expect when you are not looking for it. Such is the case with this new style that Sonya sort of happened upon... She immediately proclaimed "I think we just found something even better than we were looking for.  She continued, "it's the sophisticated version of what we had, but, even softer and more buttery to the touch." She ended her day saying she was on "Clould 9" about her new find. 

We felt like that description did an incredible job of describing the blankie as well. We hope you agree.

Her name was Hazel.  She was Sonya's youngest sister -- by almost 15 years. Though Sonya would go onto have children and grandchildren of her own-- Sonya always referred to Hazel as the baby girl that heaven sent her.  Hazel was the baby who always had the warm smiles, big hugs and sweet cuddles. Sonya designed this blanket with one thing in mind.  It had to capture Hazel's soul...

It took several months and lots of experimentation -- but, Sonya finally found the perfect weave. It was breathable and soft -- but, it's real beauty was in how the ribbed weave naturally begged to be snuggled with. It was refined, but unquestionably - RELAXED.

You'll find "Hazel's Pride & Joy" to be luxuriously soft.  This is the baby blanket that you look forward to washing -- as it just continues to get softer and softer with every wash. The imported yarn from Portugal is actually a fine cotton blended with viscose to help it retain its shape and luster -- and is also pre-shrunk so that it retains its shape and size. As with all of our blankets -- it comes trimmed with 2" inches of luxurious white satin.

New for this winter -- these (2) incredibly soft 100 percent Egyptian cotton coverlets are backed with 400 thread count sheeting.  The white coverlet is quilted with a classic Greek tile pattern. The ivory coverlet has a beautifully soft waffle weave texture. Both are trimmed in Sonya's best satin trim.
