Hi,
Our friend in Germany absolutely LOVED the blankie (said they’d never felt such soft, cuddly fabric before!).  Only little glitch was that they had to go to the Customs office to retrieve it, and open it in front of the agents, as it wasn’t labeled as a gift. The agent, a woman, was also very impressed with the blankie and even waived the usual Duty fee that they would have had to pay.

I can’t wait to hear that it gets to Safiya soon, and later on,

get to meet the little girl (she is 800 miles away from us!!)

So I am happy her Mom and Dad will be getting the blankie

soon in place of a visit til then.  I am sure it will be as pretty as she is.

1/09 I’m in the hospital..just had preemie twins and am anxious to get the blankies so that I can put them over their incubators.
