Hip, Hip — Hooray!

My children both had blankies when they were little ones.  They are grown up now and are becoming parents themselves.  That is making me a Nana. There is no other first gift I can give my grandchildren, that I know they will treasure more, than a blankie.

Their parents still have theirs.  Their’s are not new or fresh looking any more. In fact they are put away with stories and memories in every fold, crease and tear. But they are a soft secure cuddle they are wanting for their children too.  I am excited to give it them.
