Question by Keep on Truckin’: Good Biblical quote for a baptism invitation?
I am looking for a Biblical quote for a baptism invitation. For my first son we used “Let the children come to me for theirs is the Kingdom of God.” I’d like to use a different but still appropriate quote for my second son’s baptism. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

I’ve always like John 3:5. It gives the necessity of it right up front.
The following links are the scriptures that I use online, they have some powerful search tools that help a lot. The other link is to a site that outlines baptism a lot more and might have some stuff you would find insightful.

I have always love the old testament quote from the book of Ruth…your people will be my people and your God will be my God too and have used it at a variety of services
