FAQ: Is it true that Baptisms and Christenings supposed to be held on Sunday’s?

Several friends have written me recently about friends that have scheduled their newly children on Saturday’s — not Sunday’s?  As far as I know — Baptisms have always happened during services on Sunday morning… What gives? Can you have a private Baptism or Christening ceremony?
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated…
