Molly's Very Own Herringbone $62 - $95
One of Sonya's most popular blankets is finally back. Able's Loft is a 100% cotton "cable-knit woven" blanket -- offered in 3 colors; Forget-Me-Not Blue, Brilliant Modern White and Mocha-Chino.
Scratching your head -- asking yourself how and why these colors? Good question! Thankfully we have had some design savvy customers that started to use these more modern/neutral colored blankets -- to come up with some of the best looking color combinations we've seen over the years. The white is simple -- anything goes! For girls -- the Forget-Me-Not Blue looks super-sweet with our pink-a-licious thread! The Mocha-Chino rocks for boys with any color blue thread (light or denim) and is a very "chic and modern" girl's blankie with pink, sage or lavender thread.

With the dog-days of summer quickly approaching, Sonya thinks these new "Popsicle Party" colors are sure to keep the long days and short nights cool! Although she's typically pretty conservative in her style choices, our fearless leader thought this one might be a "refreshing and cool" addition to our summer-time blankie lineup.

Sonya's great aunt, Linnea, was a woman of immense talent. Her father was a sheepherder in the small Swedish town of Ydre. Linnea, as a child would not only help care for the sheep, but developed a natural talent for working with the family's antique wooden loom -- spinning & weaving when ever she had a spare moment. She also began to sew -- and before long -- she had earned a reputation in the neighboring villages -- as THE woman to see for exquisite wedding gowns. But, Linnea's greatest joy was designing and coordinating the fairy-tale like outfits for the sweet little ring bearers and flower girls. And in doing so -- began to dye her own satin trimmings in gracious pinks and regal blues. So - with Linnea in mind -- Sonya designed this new line of luxuriously soft, pure-white cotton blankets trimmed "ring bearer blue" and "flower girl pink" satin trims. The end product is simply elegant, understated and classic.

Sonya's a complex cookie. She has a lifetime of memories and experiences, but she's still a woman that rejoices in the beauty and grace of things that are wonderfully simple and pure. Sonya, whose heart and soul are still in her native Sweden (with its rolling hills,forested mountains and large river valleys), wanted to offer up a blankie that would make "Mother Earth" proud.
So with that in mind -- we think we finally found it in this natural (and eco-friendly)bamboo and cotton blend baby blanket. The blanket is free of any chemical additives -- and breathes easy thanks to its bamboo and fine cotton blended fibers.

A Sonya Exclusive - The newest innovation in baby blankets. The idea behind the blankie is that, as adults, we long for high-count luxury sheets. Why should a child be any different? Another one of Sonya's very favorite styles has made its way back into the Fill In The Blankie line-up. Molly's "Very Own" Herringbone has always been a huge crowd pleaser! This baby blanket is made of 100%Micro-Cotton which has been gracefully woven into a tightly-knitted classic herringbone pattern. Sonya's not one to hap-hazardly throw around words like "indulgent"or "pure magical cotton bliss" on just any high-end luxury blanket.
Sonya's not an easy woman to impress -- as she's been around the (looming) block long enough to have seen, sewn, felt and handled more cotton weaves than you'd ever care to actually sit down and hear all about. Leave it to say that when given the choice to pick between keeping "Hazel's Pride and Joy" in the mix or bringing back "Molly's Very Own Herringbone," she said without any hesitation or reservation -- "It's SO good to have good ole' Molly back around again."
